Foreign Players and Their Return
When they paused IPL 2025, many overseas players went back home or were in travel. Franchises must now go back and work on putting their squads together before the league starts playing again.
Key concerns:
- Josh Hazlewood (RCB) may miss out again from a shoulder injury.
- Test regulars such as Pat Cummins of SRH and Kagiso Rabada of GT may possibly miss the IPL closing stage to prepare for the World Test Championship Final that leads from June 11 at Lord’s.
Cricket exchange punters at 12BET India should always pay attention to latest announcements of final squads in a bid before coming down with bets because player availability can drastically alter the odds.
India A Tour Clash with IPL 2025
There is further drama in this scheduling overlaps – India A’s tour to England (2025), from the 30th of May to June 6, happens at the same time as the IPL 2025 playoffs. Contenders for India’s senior team could be fast-tracked and be featured well before the business end of the league, upending team lineups.
