Arshdeep Singh has emerged as one of the most reliable pacers in cricket today. With his ability to deliver under pressure and consistently take crucial wickets, he has become a sought-after player in the IPL. As teams prepare for the 2025 season, Arshdeep’s skills make him a top contender to bolster any squad. Here are five teams that should seriously consider signing him:
Top 5 IPL 2025 Teams Likely to Target Arshdeep Singh
- Punjab Kings (PBKS)
Punjab Kings released Arshdeep before the auction, but they should bring him back. He took 19 wickets in 14 games in IPL 2024, making him their second-best bowler. He knows the team well and has proven his worth. - Rajasthan Royals (RR)
Rajasthan Royals need Arshdeep’s left-arm pace. With Sandeep Sharma as their only retained bowler, Arshdeep can boost their attack and balance their lineup. - Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)
KKR has shown interest in Arshdeep before. His ability to take wickets during powerplay and death overs makes him a perfect fit. - Delhi Capitals (DC)
Delhi Capitals have struggled with bowling. Adding Arshdeep to their lineup with Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav would strengthen their attack. - Gujarat Titans (GT)
Gujarat Titans have a good auction budget and should spend on Arshdeep. His pace and swing would complement their existing bowlers and make them stronger.
Arshdeep’s recent performances, like his game-changing spell against South Africa, prove his value. He handles pressure well and consistently takes wickets.
Do you think any other team should pick him?
