Team India Schedule: Even though India’s historic T20 World Cup victory is over, Rohit Sharma and his team have little time to relax. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) unveiled a jam-packed home season schedule, which includes intense matches against Bangladesh, New Zealand, and England.
A Season Kickstart and Tour Down Under
Team India Schedule for home begins on September 19th with a two-Test series against Bangladesh, followed by a three-match T20 International series. This will be an important warm-up for India before embarking on pre-scheduled visits to Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka.
Following their away trips, India returns home to welcome New Zealand for a three-Test series beginning on October 16th. This highly anticipated series will keep the squad busy until early November, when they will travel to Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, a five-match Test series.
England Returns for White-Ball Battles
The 2024/25 home season concludes with a white-ball series against England in January and February 2025. England, fresh off their own battles in India earlier this year, will return for a five-match T20I series and a three-match ODI series.
