Where to watch ICC World Cup 2023 Warm-Up Matches: The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup is just around the corner, and the 10 participating teams are gearing up for the mega event with some warm-up matches. The warm-up fixtures will be held across three venues in India: Hyderabad, Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram.
The warm-up matches will take place from Friday 29 September to Tuesday 3 October, giving the teams a chance to get used to the conditions and fine-tune their strategies. Each team will play two warm-up games against different opponents. The warm-up matches are not official ODIs and do not count towards the rankings or statistics.
The good news for cricket fans is that they can watch the warm-up matches live on various platforms, depending on their region. In India, the host nation, all the warm-up fixtures will be broadcast live on Star Sports and streamed live on Disney+ Hotstar. In Pakistan, PTV and ARY will show all the warm-up games live. In Sri Lanka, Maharaja TV will telecast the warm-up matches.
In New Zealand, Sky Sports NZ will cover the warm-up matches live, while in Australia, Fox Sports will air the matches on both linear and Kayo. In England, Sky Sports will show most of the warm-up fixtures live on linear and digital, except for three matches: South Africa v Afghanistan, Australia v Netherlands and Afghanistan v Sri Lanka.
In Afghanistan, Ariana TV will broadcast all the warm-up matches live, while in Bangladesh, Gazi TV will show the matches of The Tigers live.
